1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BridgeX Nigeria's mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BridgeX Nigeria. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of Services

BridgeX is a platform that connects service users with verified service providers in Nigeria. We facilitate introductions between users seeking services and providers offering services, but we are not a party to any transaction or agreement between users and providers.

Important: BridgeX does not employ, contract, or otherwise engage service providers. Providers are independent professionals who use our platform to find customers. We act as an intermediary and are not responsible for the services provided by providers or the actions of users.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

To use our Services, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Account Security

You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

3.3 One Account Per Person

You may only have one personal account. Creating multiple accounts or sharing your account with others is prohibited.

4. Service Provider Requirements

To become a BridgeX verified provider, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide valid identification documents
• Complete the verification process (ID, skills, background check)
• Have the necessary skills and experience for your service category
• Maintain accurate profile information
• Respond to customer requests in a timely manner
• Provide services professionally and safely

BridgeX reserves the right to deny or revoke verification status at any time.

5. Service Booking & Payment

5.1 Booking

When you book a service through BridgeX, you enter into a direct agreement with the service provider for the provision of services. The terms, price, and conditions of service are agreed upon between you and the provider.

5.2 Pricing

Service users enjoy free access to BridgeX. Providers pay per-lead charges as outlined in our pricing plans. Payments for services are made directly to providers, unless otherwise specified.

5.3 Cancellation

Cancellations must be made according to the provider's stated policy. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in account penalties or suspension.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or providers
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to circumvent the verification process
• Share account credentials with others
• Use automated bots or scripts to access the Services
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform
• Solicit providers for work outside of BridgeX to avoid fees

7. Ratings & Reviews

After a service is completed, both users and providers can leave ratings and reviews. These help maintain trust in our community. We may remove reviews that violate our guidelines, but we do not edit or modify user content.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the BridgeX platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of BridgeX Nigeria and are protected by Nigerian and international copyright and trademark laws.

You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a non-exclusive license to use it for operating and improving our Services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: BridgeX is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BridgeX Nigeria, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms in the app and on our website. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that harms other users, providers, or the platform. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the app.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
